The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation reports a child abuse case coming out of New Tazewell. According to agents, authorities were called to an apartment on Tom Bell Rd. just after 6 PM on Sept. 6th for an unresponsive 13-month-old. The infant, Maci Elizabeth Tindall-Scott was airlifted to UT Medical Center but passed away at the hospital three days later. The TBI is awaiting autopsy results as the investigation is continuing.
