TENNESSEE TOURISTS SPEND OVER A BILLION IN SALES TAXES FOR 10TH YEAR

Tourists in Tennessee contributed over $1 billion in state and local sales taxes for the tenth year in a row. According to officials, this year’s total of $1.6 billion is up seven percent over 2014. All 95 counties in Tennessee report more than $1 million in direct travel expenditures. Last year in Cumberland County, tourists spent over $112 million.
