SINGLE VEHICLE WRECK IN ROCKWOOD SENDS ONE TO HOSPITAL

Rockwood Police, Fire and Emergency Medical Personnel worked a single car crash at Delozier Lane and North gateway Thursday afternoon. The call came out at 1:15 PM after a vehicle driven by Kelly Powell of Rockwood left the roadway and struck a utility pole. According to reports, ambulances were tied up and it took about 25 minutes for one to arrive and transport the woman to the hospital. Until then she was placed on a backboard and given sufficient treatment. Powell’s condition was believed to be non-life threatening. She was the only occupant in the car.
