A man wanted on two counts of murder in Monroe County was apprehended Friday morning by Rockwood Police. 34-year-old Brian Saylor was observed in the Tarwater St. area Thursday night, but was able to elude officers by escaping into a wood line. Following a tip, police found Saylor in a home on South Kingston Ave. around 8 AM. A portion of the street, mainly the 500 block, was shut down during the incident. Police Chief Danny Wright says that Saylor was taken into custody without incident although he had been armed with an automatic handgun. Details on the two warrants were not immediately made available.
